  • The IHM Cheerleaders are a group of highly motivated individuals who wish to bring more spirit to our school.  Practices are once a week for 60 minutes from November to January. During that time, student-athletes will learn the foundations of the sport of cheerleading: motions, cheers, jumps, tumbling and stunting. Cheerleaders perform in the annual IHM's Got Talent show and in the Eastchester St. Patrick's Day Parade. At the end of the year, cheerleaders will kick off our annual Spirit Day with a high-energy performance as well. The goal of our cheerleading program is to expose our students to this intense sport before moving onto high schools, where cheerleading programs are quite competitive.
