Pre-K3            (8:30 – 11:30 Daily)

Pre-K3 will explore a variety of themes through centers set-up in the classroom.  They will observe the change in apples before and after they are cooked in the science center.  They will graph various vegetables in the math center during our harvest theme in November.  We will incorporate many activities in December when we read the story of The Gingerbread Boy and have our annual gingerbread making celebration.  In addition the children will learn to get along with their peers, as well as learning the responsibility of putting away their belongings.

Pre-K4            (8:30 – 11:30 Five days a week for half-day sessions –or- 8:30 – 2:30 for full-day option)

The goal of the IHM Pre-K4 program is to plant the seeds of positive self-concept, respect for people and the things that surround us, the ability for self-regulation and the love of learning.  Music, art, movement and “silliness” are incorporated into a curriculum rich with hands on science experiments, pre-reader exercises, mathematical concepts, creative arts, religion instruction and social development.  Children receive instruction and interactive smart board opportunities each week along with physical education and musical enrichment.  Above all, our Pre-K4 children learn about God, His love for us and the importance of loving one another.
