IHM is happy to be able to provide an extended day program for those parents who are interested.

GENERAL INFORMATION :
  • The program will run Monday through Friday from 2:40pm to 6:00pm.  It will follow the school calendar.
  • The program will also be available on First Friday/12 Noon dismissal days.  The program will return on those days from 12 Noon to 6:00pm.
  • The program will NOT be available when school is closed due to inclement weather, holidays, holy days.  It will not be available on half days before Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter.
  • Parents are responsible for notifying the program staff of any changes in their child's schedule at least 24 hours in advance.  Messages may be left at the school office, at (914) 723-5608.
  • Punctuality in picking up your child is essential.
  • Parents will be billed at the end of each month for services used.
  • There will be no after school the last week in June (the week of 12 Noon dismissal)
PROGRAM :
  • Children should bring their own drinks and snacks.  On early dismissal days, students are expected to bring their own lunch.
  • Quiet time - time to do homework.
  • Students will be given the opportunity to play and have homework time.
  • Students may bring sneakers and/or play clothes each day.
PROGRAM FEES :
  • $5.00 per half-hour per child
  • $40.00 registration fee per child (September through June)
PAYMENT POLICIES :
  • Fees are computed on a half-hourly basis.
  • A bill will be sent home to each family on the first Wednesday of each month.
  • Payment should be given to the School Office.
  • Checks should be made payable to "IHM School".
  • Fees are payable after you receive your statement, but should be paid within the week of billing.
  • Families with more than one week behind in payments will lose the opportunity to participate in the program.
PICK-UP PROCEDURE:

Pick up for after school will be in the afterschool room.  All students must be signed out.  It is important that the students are picked up on time.

ANY SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING THE RELEASE OF YOUR CHILD SHOULD BE MADE IN WRITING BEFORE 9:00 AM AND SENT DIRECTLY TO THE SCHOOL OFFICE.
